Product Review: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Color

I am a recovering nail biter. I know! How can a nurse have such a gross habit? It is something that I've done since I was little and it was something that I did in times of stress. When I was young, my parents tried everything to get me to stop. My dad would put hot sauce on my fingers thinking that would deter me. All it did was turn me into a hot sauce fan lol. They tried putting that bitter nail polish on it, but I would just pick at it until it was gone. Nothing worked. As I got older, my nail biting habits would come and go. When I had my nails painted, I typically would not bite them until the paint started to chip. When I started working on the unit in the hospital, nurses weren't allowed to wear polish so the habit started back up again.

Now that I am in a job where I'm not working with patients directly, I started to paint my nails weekly and I have noticed that I am no longer biting my nails. Hallelujah! I am not completely broken of the habit, in times of great stress/anxiety I will catch myself biting, but it has dramatically improved. I have Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Color to thank.

I'm pretty sure you can find this line of products anywhere, but I bought mine from my local Ulta Beauty store. I bought some more colors this past Saturday and they were buy one get one 50% off. Not sure how long this sale is going on for.

I really hated painting my nails because one, the time it takes to do it and make it look nice and two,  I some way, some how always messed them up immediately after I was finished painting them. This nail polish however, dries within 60 seconds so it takes care of all my previous annoyances. The polish is thick so you could really get away with one coat, I did two. When it dries it is shiny and not dull like some colors. For me it has lasted just as long as non-quick dry polishes.  I also like that the brush is angled/pointed so it gives you better control over the polish and there are many colors to choose from!
